VJ Edgecombe - Scores 16 in tournament defeat Edgecombe provided 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 33 minutes during Sunday's 89-66 loss to Duke.

Impact Edgecombe was one of the few bright spots on the day for Baylor as the Bears got rolled by the top-seeded Blue Devils. Edgecombe scored 16 points on the day to cap off a fantastic freshman season in which he averaged 15 points and 5.6 rebounds per game and was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year and received second-team All-Big 12 honors. As a projected lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, Edgecombe has likely played his final game at the collegiate level.

Norchad Omier - Records 90th career double-double Omier posted 12 points (3-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Friday's 75-72 win over Mississippi State.

Impact Omier struggled from the floor but still managed to post his 10th-consecutive double-double while playing all 40 minutes during Baylor's three-point win in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The senior forward stands second all-time in double-doubles, with Thursday's performance representing the 90th of his career, including 22 this season. Omier is a 55.8-percent shooter from the floor this season and will be needed to match or exceed that mark if the ninth-seeded Bears are to have a chance against top-seed Duke in the second round.

Robert O. Wright - Leads way in first-round win Wright finished Friday's 75-72 victory over Mississippi State with 19 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes.

Impact Wright came up big for Baylor as the Bears escaped with a three-point win, shooting better than 50-percent from the floor while leading the way with 19 points, the most he's tallied since scoring 24 against Kansas on February 1. Wright had averaged just 4.7 points on 27.3-percent shooting across his previous three games but played very well in helping lead Baylor to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bears were a top-10 team in the preseason polls and struggled throughout much of the year but if the freshman point guard can maintain this proficiency, Baylor is more than capable of being a live dog in their next matchup against top-seeded Duke.

Impact Love missed Baylor's loss to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Tournament, but hadn't missed a game before that since Feb. 4. The junior guard, who had started the past nine games before his injury, averages 8.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists and should be an excellent asset for Baylor upon his return to action, which will come in the Round of 64 on either Thursday or Friday.

Impact Omier dominated down low, scoring a season-high 29 points while pulling down at least 15 boards for the fourth time this season. It was Omier's ninth-consecutive double-double and his 21st such performance of the season. Unfortunately for Omier, it wasn't quite enough to get Baylor over the hump as Texas Tech's JT Toppin nearly matched him blow-for-blow. The slumping Bears will now sweat things out on Selection Sunday as the preseason eight-ranked team in the land now resides firmly on the tournament bubble.
