Impact Pendergrass was Baylor's top halfback in the bowl game loss to LSU. His 21 carries were his highest total of the season, and he scored twice despite only averaging 3.0 yards-per-carry. After a productive sophomore campaign, Pendergrass figures to form a formidable backfield duo with Bryson Washington for Baylor in 2025.

Impact Washington had a breakout year in 2024 as a redshirt freshman, running for 1,028 yards and 12 touchdowns while reeling in 22 catches for 217 yards and a score. However, he was shut down against the Tigers and only logged five carries, his fewest since the first two games of the season in which he didn't play. Washington figures to be the Bears' lead tailback in 2025.

In doing so, he finished 2024 with over 3,000 passing yards, which seemed unlikely going into the Baylor-LSU game. This year proved Robertson has what it takes to be a starting quarterback, and not moving away from the Bears should allow him to retain a QB1 role going into 2025.
